Acceptable & Responsible Use Policy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
1. Purpose & scope
This Acceptable & Responsible Use Policy (the "Policy") governs all access to and use of the Service by you, your Locations, your Clerks and other Personnel, and any Player who interacts with the Service through your Locations. By using the Service, or permitting others to, you agree to this Policy and you agree to ensure that everyone using the Service through you complies with it.
2. You control the use; you are responsible for it
Redema is a technology provider. It does not operate your business, supervise your staff, decide which transactions you process, or control how the Service is used at your Locations. You are solely responsible for all activity conducted through your account, Locations, devices, and Clerks' credentials, and for the acts and omissions of your Personnel and the conduct of your Players, whether or not authorized by you. You will train, supervise, and control your Clerks, and you will use independent judgment on every redemption.
3. Your compliance obligations
- You will hold and maintain all licenses, permits, and approvals required to operate and to redeem winnings, and you will operate within their conditions at all times.
- You will comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and guidance, including those governing Coin-Operated Amusement Machines in Georgia and those administered by the Georgia Lottery Corporation.
- You will ensure that every redemption you process is lawful, legitimate, properly authorized, and supported by a valid winning ticket.
- You will adopt and enforce your own internal controls, training, and supervision sufficient to prevent misuse.
- You will keep your own records as required by law and your licensing conditions.
4. The Service is strictly noncash
No cash, change, or currency is ever provided through the Service. Redeemed winnings become a noncash digital Prize Balance only. You, your Personnel, and Players must not use or attempt to use the Service to obtain cash or currency, to convert a Prize Balance to cash, or to defeat or work around the noncash design in any way.
5. Prohibited uses
You, your Personnel, and Players must not, and must not attempt to, assist, or permit any person to:
- obtain cash or currency, provide change, or convert a Prize Balance into cash or any cash equivalent;
- move funds between persons, broker, resell, or commercialize Prize Balances or Cards;
- process any redemption that is not based on a genuine, valid, lawfully obtained winning ticket;
- engage in or facilitate fraud, theft, collusion, structuring, money laundering, or any other unlawful activity;
- provide false, inaccurate, or misleading license, identity, ticket, or transaction information;
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with validation prompts, review flags, the ledger, security, or any other control;
- share, sell, or misuse credentials or enrollment codes, or allow unauthorized access;
- use the Service in any location, or for any purpose, that is not licensed and authorized;
- use the Service to harm, harass, or defraud any Player or third party;
- reverse engineer, copy, scrape, overload, probe, or attack the Service, or introduce malicious code;
- use automated means to access the Service except through interfaces we authorize; or
- take any action that violates the Terms, this Policy, the rights of others, or any law.
6. Clerk responsibilities
Clerks must verify and validate each winning ticket, process only legitimate redemptions, never attempt to provide cash or defeat the noncash design, keep credentials secure, and use the "flag for review" path when something appears irregular. The Operator is responsible for ensuring its Clerks are trained on and follow these duties. The reversal workflow — not deletion or override — is the only correction path available to Operators and Clerks.
7. No monitoring obligation; misuse is the actor's responsibility
The Service includes tools intended to support lawful use, such as validation prompts, review flags, and an append-only ledger. These tools do not shift responsibility to Redema, are not a guarantee against misuse, and do not make Redema a supervisor of your business. Redema has no obligation to monitor, review, screen, or approve individual transactions or user conduct, and does not do so for legality. If any person misuses or abuses the Service — including any attempt to obtain cash, commit fraud, or violate the law or this Policy — that misuse is the sole responsibility of the person who engaged in it and of the Operator, and not of Redema. You will not hold Redema responsible for the conduct of your Personnel, your Players, or any third party.
8. Enforcement & consequences
We may, at our sole discretion and without liability: investigate suspected violations; flag, restrict, suspend, or terminate access to any user, Location, or account, immediately and with or without notice; refuse or reverse transactions; and report suspected unlawful conduct to law enforcement, regulators, or other appropriate parties, and cooperate with them. Violations are a material breach of the Terms and may result in termination without refund and in your liability to Redema and others under the Terms, including your indemnification obligations. Our decision not to enforce any provision in a given case is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
9. Reporting violations
If you become aware of any actual or suspected violation of this Policy, fraud, security issue, or unlawful activity, you must stop it where you can and promptly report it to us at hello@coamredemption.com. You will cooperate with any investigation.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time by posting the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Relationship to the Terms
This Policy supplements and is part of the Terms of Service. If there is a conflict, the Terms govern except where this Policy is more restrictive, in which case the more restrictive provision applies. Questions: hello@coamredemption.com.
